YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor degree in a technical field (Electrical engineering or IT)
• 3 years’+ experience of engineering and planning experience, good technical drawing skills and proficiency using ACAD
• Ability to analyze and interpret operational data and identify areas for improvement
• Analytical and adaptive, with high level of customer focus and proactive, solution-oriented thinking approach
• Fluent in English and German and effective communication skills, both oral and written

YOUR ROLE

Joining us as a Technical Design Engineer, you will support with pre-contract technical consulting, to match the customer expectations with our capacity and feasibility by designing technical solutions. You will act as the main interface between Sales and Operations departments. You will achieve success through understanding the technical possibilities and the customer needs to produce the best suitable service solution. At the same time, you will serve as a reliable source of information for all departments and contribute not only to customer satisfaction, but also to optimal use of our space and other DC capacities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Provide an assessment on power, cooling, and square meter availability
• Review available footprints and make planning decision in respect of available capacity
• Create and update facility floor plans using ACAD
• Assignments of new customer racks, cabinets, cages, and panels
• Creation of engineering packages for the installations of ladder rack, fiber raceway, cable ties, power, and grounding
• Creation of engineering packages for space and connectivity assignments
• Creating customer offers and prepare handover to Implementation
• Assist Sales team with customer’s technical requests and support Operations
