Technical Engineer

• ssist the business group in reviewing tender documents and participate in pre-sales discussion and meeting. Review and propose the appropriate product models for the customer/distributors.
• Assist associates including customer service administrator in understanding technical details in purchase order, enquiry.
• Assist distributors in solving issues with our products. This will include finding solutions from our technical manuals, websites and from our contacts at the factories.
• Assist associates including customer service administrator in understanding technical details in purchase order, enquiry.
• Create or develop training materials such as video clips, presentations and organize training sessions to upgrade the skills of our distributors.
• This will include conducting and maintaining the certified training programs. Some of these training may be held in other countries.
• Help to identify problems with our products by participating with our distributors and authorized service providers in troubleshooting activities which may include field trips, e.g. interfacing with our pumps.
• Work with our associates in the head-offices and factories to find solutions to meet new challenges faced by our products.
• This may include resolving issues resulting from changes in statutory requirements, customer needs, new configuration or production e.g. quality problem with keypad from new supplier.
• Help associates in business function to identify potential new use of our products. This will include joint trip with our associates in business.
• Understand new products that we may have from time to time and help to introduce these to customers in our region.
• This may include learning about the product and disseminating the important details to colleagues.
• Candidates must possess minimum Diploma in Engineering or a similar discipline with 2 – 3 years’ requisite experience in Engineering or similar industry
• Possess personal credibility.
• Ability to communicate in English fluently
• Comfortable with MS Office Application
• Possess some IT and Computer Networking Skills
