THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a dedicated Technical Executive / Assistant Manager - B&P Workshop to be part of our Multi-Franchise aftersales service team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day workshop operations in the service centre, leading, motivating and ensure performance of the team.
Being in a dynamic environment, you are expected to adapt, pick up and apply new skills and knowledge which will be necessary to your success in this role.

Requirements:

  • A minimum tertiary qualification in Automotive Technology or related discipline
  • At least 3 or more years of relevant experience in automotive operations
  • Possess a valid Class 3 driving license
  • You should demonstrate good communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Real passion for Automotive Technology with excellent technical knowledge and the ability to prioritise and plan effectively
  • You should also exhibit strong leadership capabilities to manage a team and a standout colleague with initiative and a positive attitude towards learnin

Responsibilities:

  • You will adopt a systematic, professional and complex diagnosis of the vehicle using corresponding diagnostic tools, methods and facilities
  • Inspect, identify and resolve cause of the fault and its rectification
  • Assign and schedule of work duties to workshop service staff is part of your daily duties
  • You will provide mentorship to Technician and oversee the activities to ensure efficient job performance and timely repair of vehicles
  • Assist in addressing customers’ issues and resolving challenges by providing technical advice and information regarding product specific problems
  • Maintain good practice of housekeeping and comply to safety practices at the work area by the team at times
  • Complies to all rules and regulations stipulated by the company
  • Any other duties assigned by immediate supervisor from time to time
