Job Expectations
A rewarding opportunity has become available for a Technical Facilities Manager, this role will be reporting to the Executive Manager Corporate Real Estate, Facilities & Fleet and will join the dynamic Finance team at nbn
A bit about your role
The Technical Facilities Manager is accountable for the facilities management strategy development and implementation for nbn technical sites. This will be focused on TANDs (Aggregation Nodes), SES (Satellite Earth station) sites and other technical sites. This role is intended to primarily support NSW TAND sites, at Asquith but also Eastern Creek and attending Mount St head office as required.
The role will also develop, implement, monitor and manage the plan to ensure stability, capacity, and performance of the technical facilities solutions at key sites. It focuses on overseeing the facilities at the site, which include power systems, HVAC, fire safety, and physical structures. It will involve ensuring these facilities are fit for purpose and evolve in line with end-of-life (EOL) considerations and business requirements. The role also involves tracking and managing initiatives to completion.
A bit about you
The successful incumbent will have extensive experience in technical facilities management or data centre Management. Moreover, experience developing and implementing a technical remediation plan will be valuable. Also, you will have experience managing, and monitoring, outsourced partner delivery in a technical space.
