(Technical) Junior Production Designer - Communications Agency

Our production team are looking for a creative and ambitious individual, who is looking to deliver high calibre communications for our blue-chip client base
This will include annual reports and reviews, sustainability reports, investor relations / employee communications and digital communications
In the production team, you will engage with the creative and communications teams to deliver complex communications with the opportunity to develop new skills in different platforms and develop your career within this growing and highly ambitious organisation.
The successful candidate must be comfortable communicating with internal teams, have a keen eye for detail, strong communication and interpersonal skills, creative flair and want to participate in building one of the largest and most successful professional service companies of its kind.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in graphic design
• Excellent understanding of typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
• A technical and curious mind with the ability to learn new software, tools and techniques
• Proactive and innovative, whilst thinking outside the box
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, high-quality work.
• Interested in corporate and information design
• Proficiency in graphic design software, particularly Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, often with tight deadlines.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

• Produce high-quality and complex design templates and deliver accurate work for digital and print
• Follow detailed briefs, taking responsibility for ensuring that you understand all amends, requests and changes within that brief
• Ensure that you follow Black Sun’s quality control procedures, systems and work practices at all times, ensuring complete accuracy of all deliverables
• Be proactive and add value to projects at every stage
• Ability to adapt and learn new working methods and systems, for example Workiva and our other client editing system PrintConnect, CtrlPrint, MSWord, and PPT
• Retain an eye for detail to ensure projects are executed to a high standard, proactively reviewing your work to ensure it’s right the first time around
• Support in the delivery of digital communications, such as asset creation and using content management systems
