  • Collaborate closely with our National Sales Director, US Leadership Team and Technical Support Team to ensure we reach our high-reaching goals.
  • Work hand in hand with our Marketing, Operations, Market Development team, and Regional Managers to deliver captivating presentations that will drive sustained assay adoption within our customer base.
  • Apply your knowledge and resources to address inquiries, while rigorously adhering to all guidelines and regulations.
  • Stay on top of diagnostic and therapeutic market trends which may impact autoimmune and allergy diagnostic testing.
  • Apply and further develop your expertise in indirect fluorescent antibody (IFA) assays.
  • Participate in and support advisory boards and strategic committees.
  • Understand the requirements of accreditation agencies (e.g., The Joint Commission, CAP) and quality control practices and procedures within a clinical laboratory.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong technical and social skills to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Ability to build and present relevant content in partnership with internal and external teams.
  • Experience in product launches, preferably in the Laboratory or Clinical Diagnostics field.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, comfortable working independently and within teams, with a willingness to travel overnight.
  • Well organized, results-focused, and able to think quickly and creatively.
    At Thermo Fisher Scientific, we enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. As a Technical Laboratory Educator on our Medical and Scientific Affairs team, you will play a crucial role in educating our customers about in vitro diagnostic products and laboratory systems.
    Your primary focus will be to provide outstanding support to our customers for current and future Phadia lab systems and automated IFA solutions through skills-based training and both live and virtual programming. You will be instrumental in guiding our laboratory customers and supporting our commercial teams to achieve growth through effective content delivery and customer interactions.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with field sales, sales management, and marketing to provide peer-to-peer programming for targeted lab customers and Key Opinion Leaders through programs and presentations.
  • Collaborate closely with the US and Global Marketing teams to provide technical expertise in message development.
  • Provide clinical expertise in the development or modification of practice guidelines that include allergy and autoimmunity diagnostic testing.
  • Educate laboratorians on how to efficiently utilize our diagnostic portfolio.
  • Serve as a resource for new hire and colleague lab training.
  • Identify and develop laboratory champions and thought leaders.
  • Design and conduct customized training presentations and diagnostic pathway implementation as needed.
  • Ensure that all training, presentations, and discussions are consistent with approved product indications for use.
  • Travel up to 30% throughout the country, with occasional international travel as needed.
