We’re looking for an Electronics Assembly Technical Lead to join our Manufacturing team at Philips Dynalite.

As a Technical Lead you’ll be responsible for leading the team for setup, programming, operation and basic maintenance of the Surface Mount and Through Hole Printed Circuit Board (PCB) electronics assembly line ensuring Quality and Productivity targets are met. You will also enjoy the opportunity to work in other roles within the Manufacturing area as demand requires including, testing, programming and electronic final product assembly.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years’ experience in the electronics manufacturing industry.
- Cert IV or Diploma in Electrical / Electronics Engineering from TAFE or equivalent or Bachelor Degree in EE.
- A proactive thinker with some experience in leadership & reporting.
- Experience operating SMT / Through Hole PCB assembly machines & experience with handling electronic components
- Proficient with Microsoft Office package – Word, Excel etc.
- Sound communication skills with ability to follow clear instructions and perform a high quality of work.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure smooth and efficient operation of the SMT PCBA production line to meet productivity & quality targets.
- Operate all relevant machinery, tools, and equipment and undertake standard and complex production tasks safely and in accordance with work instructions as well as operational procedures.
- Maintain & report accurate daily production records so that manufacturing performance can be analysed, resolve basic problems, or escalate to the next level more complex problems.
- Operate all aspects of the Surface Mount (SMT) & Through Hole (TH) line making adjustments as required and reporting any errors or defects as they occur.
- Modifying machine programs to optimize performance and output quality.
- Final assembly, Test & Programming of electronic assemblies.
- Actively participate in continuous improvements initiatives within a LEAN environment.
