The Cache Systems Manager is much more hands-on in her administration of the system than a typical database administrator. Has a multitude of proactive tasks to perform on a frequent basis, even when the system is operating without issues INTEGRIS Health is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.

The Cache Systems Manager responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Starts and stop Cache and Epic environments using both Epic and Cache utilities.
  • Maintains and configure Epic scripts and monitoring utilities.
  • Maintains Cache configuration per Epics recommendations.
  • Installs and upgrade Cache on a server.
  • Creates programmer and administrative access to Epic environments.
  • Creates additional environments for testing and/or training as needed.
  • Creates logins for different types of access.
  • Maintains Cache level security.
  • Configures Epic environments using Epic configuration utilities.
  • Back up, restore, and refresh Epic environments.
  • Set up, configure, and monitor shadow servers.
  • Performs server-side releases.
  • Monitors and troubleshoot unusual system behavior.
  • Establishes a baseline for systems performance and monitor it regularly.
  • Monitors Cache license usage.

LI-Hybrid

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent required.
  • Familiar with SMS, ZENworks, LANdesk, thin client, or login scripts
  • MCTS/MCP certifications
  • Healthcare experience preferred
