REQUIREMENTS:

• Has at least 7 years of experience in Full-Stack application development;
• Can make a difference in a team. A change agent with strong positive influence skills, an idea catalyst who can turn concrete actions into results. Your natural leadership talents will bring out the best in your colleagues above all;
• Is a team player. You’re not afraid to challenge the status quo. Whether it’s in code, practices, or processes, you’re eager to improve things and do them differently;
• Always keeps the business perspective in mind when prioritizing technical work. You are adept at understanding and translating business needs into decisions and effectively communicating them to your colleagues;
• Has solid experience on the cloud platform AWS;
• Masters Back-End technologies Node.js and/or Java;
• Masters Front-End technologies Vue.js and/or React.js;
• Holds a college or university degree in computer science or software engineering;
• Strong proficiency in both written and verbal English communication essential for effective correspondence with clients, suppliers, business partners, and colleagues beyond the province of Quebec.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will work closely with innovative individuals to design robust and scalable software solutions to address a wide range of logistical challenges in the healthcare sector. You will be a technical reference in development and will be able to assess the relevance of adopting emerging technological innovations in our practices. You will contribute by participating in brainstorming sessions, understanding requirements thoroughly, and performing technical design and solution programming. You will work in a scrum team focused on continuous improvement of methods, tools, and practices. Finally, your ability to collaborate with cross-functional disciplines, build trust among peers, and positively influence others will help you successfully tackle challenges.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Being an active member of an agile development team in which you will design, develop, review code, and test;
• Challenging the status quo and seeking innovative approaches to problems;
• Building strong relationships with business and technical stakeholders to develop a balanced solution between client requirements and technical imperatives;
• Collaborating with the operations team to ensure product reliability;
• Ensuring that functional requirements (performance and scalability) are met;
• Contributing to retrospectives for continuous improvement of team processes and effectiveness.
