WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE DO I NEED?
- Essential: Mainframe experience, Cobol, PLI, IMS, CICS, DB2, JCL, Pier 1 (Java), In-depth technical knowledge on payments routing
- Desirable: Financial/Banking experience, zOS Connect/API, strong stakeholder management experience, Partner management, Commercial Hogan System (CHS)

Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with the architect and solution designer to convert requirements/high level solution design into architecture aligned detailed technical solution design
- Identify downstream impacts
- Provide application development, maintenance and end-to-end technical expertise
- Expertise in software architecture, low level technical solution, visual design and technical governance of applications and platforms
- Provide DevOps services and lead application development teams
- Responsible for the overall delivery of the Technical solution within a Squad e.g. Employee Exp. Or Customer Exp.
- Inputs into Architecture and Solution Design
- Inputs into sprint planning, risks, dependencies and governance
- Delegated sign offs from Principal Lead
- Single point of contact for all developers within the assigned squad
- Represents the team at forums e.g. WDP forum
To be successful in this role, you will need in-depth technical knowledge within the automation space, strong stakeholder management experience, a positive attitude with the ability to take ownership of the role. In addition to this, your skills may include:
- Good communication skills – a diverse user base with both business, financial and technical backgrounds.
- Strong IT Financial knowledge with an understanding of contract costings, Capex and Opex concepts. Ability to translate contract information into direct costing impacts.
- Strong Data analytics and information management skills.
- Proven experience in translating technical requirements into working solutions.
- Infrastructure Knowledge with an understanding of concepts such as storage, virtualisation, and vendor management
