Working closely with Product Owners who own the functional aspects of a product, and Lead Scrum Master who look after project lifecycle management the Lead Solution Architect owns the non-functional aspects of the product, facilitating Architectural decisions made by the supplier product team, ensuring that solutions are fit for purpose and continue to address business drivers & needs, including cost, performance, security & resilience.
- Accountability for ensuring the technical & non-functional design of the Salesforce & Adobe cloud platforms are aligned with the overall strategic objectives & technical guidance set out by the Technology Department.
- Accountability for ensuring the Salesforce & Adobe cloud platforms implementation continues to be appropriate to provide a secure, cost effective, performant, available, scalable, & maintainable solution adhering to all relevant Technology standards and practices.
- Being responsible for providing a continuous assessment of the technical quality of delivery & the technical performance of third-party development teams working on products on the Salesforce & Adobe platforms.
- Working closely alongside the Product Owner, to maintain a prioritised backlog of work items to be completed by a Product Team, balancing the need for new Functional Requirements, the cost of the cloud platform, and the security, availability & performance of the cloud platform.
- Manage collaboration with the relevant team on the scope of changes with respect to cyber / data protection considerations.
- Responsible for coaching and mentoring Software Architects & Software Engineering Leads and System Administrators where applicable within delivery partner ecosystem.
- Firm understanding of object oriented techniques.
- Strong working knowledge of Salesforce platform & Adobe platform out-of-the-box functionality, including best practices regarding security options.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills.
- Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.
Strong technical foundation: advanced structured programming (APEX,Force.com,.Net,Java), relational database concepts and structures, structured system analysis and design methods, etc.Understands webservices and other technologies that can be used to transport data in an enterprise environment and interact with Salesforce.com.
