Responsibilities:

The position of Technical Manager Airworthiness Review involves independently conducting Airworthiness Review (ARC) on aircraft in the EAT fleet, providing disciplinary & technical leadership to the team of Fleet Managers and ARC staff and advising the NPCA (Nominated Person Continuing Airworthiness) on airworthiness issues.

  • Technical and disciplinary management of the Fleet Management / ARC team
  • Examination of changes in aviation law for effects in the area of CAMO
  • Advising the Technical Director on ARC relevant airworthiness issues
  • Train Airwothiness Review Staff and other personnel in the area of airworthiness (CAME)
  • Conduct airworthiness review in accordance with existing regulations (M.A. 710, EAT CAME)
  • Review of flight records, documentation, compliance with procedures, correct use of manuals, implementation of instructions, modifications, maintenance procedures and validity of the Mass & Balance Statement and the Aircraft Configuration for compliance with all regulations and requirements
  • Issue (or recommend the issue) of the airworthiness review certificate
  • Co-operate with the national authority on all of the above
  • Introduction of improvement measures based on the experience gained from conducting airworthiness audits
  • Supervision of audits of national authorities & IOSA
  • Collaboration in cross-divisional projects
  • Willingness to conduct internal workshops and trainings and to participate in appropriate qualifications for this purpose
