Description:
POSITION SUMMARY:
Technical Marketer responsible for building internal knowledge and capabilities on Orthopaedic Health and Pain to maintain and drive growth of canine and feline pain portfolio across the International Region (outside US). In addition to providing technical support to the OTV PARA Brands. Reporting to Thera Portfolio Management and Strategy Lead within Pet Health International.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Veterinary Medicine
- 5+ years’ experience as a practicing veterinarian in companion animal or experience in comparable industry role
- Strong command of English language.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS & PREFERENCES:
- Experience in orthopaedic health and pain & understanding of Parasitology
- Business acumen, with experience of managing OPEX and forecasting.
- Strong self-organizational skills
- Good project management skills
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Ability to make decisions within the context of uncertainty and ambiguity
- Matrix management and collaboration skills
- Ability to translate technical messages into commercial talking points
- Strong international outlook with ability to communicate and collaborate cross-functionally and across different cultures
Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and deliver product and disease-state training to affiliates.
- Provide technical product and disease state expertise to technical veterinary/marketing teams in affiliates.
- Serve as medical lead in the development of key data summaries and medical presentations to support the brand.
- Working with key affiliates to maintain and build a network of KOLs, organizing ad boards and maintaining a scientific speaker’s bureau to support future launches.
- Assist in the execution of yearly international brand plans for the category.
- Work closely with affiliate technical veterinary/marketing teams to collect feedback, field expertise and provide scientific brand updates.
- Proactively gather market intelligence, and prepared and communicate internal response strategy.
- Develop and maintain relationships with major veterinary associations/organisations.
- Collaborate with US to transfer shared knowledge between US and International region.
- Collaborate across para team with Technical lead on the RX brands to ensure cross brand projects and strategy is aligned
- Identify, prioritize and coordinate post approval studies with appropriate cross-functional individuals, ensuring compliance with Elanco and Industry regulations and standards.
- Serve as INT marketing medical expert to Corporate & Global Innovation Strategy group, Business Development and R&D to ensure alignment on pipeline/life cycle management prioritization to address commercial needs.
