Responsibilities:
Are you ready to make a real impact supporting Australia’s Defence Force? We are seeking a dedicated Technical Officer to join our dynamic Technical Services Team.
In this role, you’ll sustain and enhance the ADF’s Ground Support Equipment (GSE) fleet, maintaining technical integrity as maintenance regimes, parts, and publications evolve. Reporting to the Technical Team Lead, you’ll manage relationships with key stakeholders, address defect reports, analyse engineering changes, and conduct safety assessments.
Your responsibilities include developing technical information, managing configuration baselines, approving spare parts, and overseeing third-party maintenance. You’ll also support the GSE Service Desk, ensuring prompt customer service, and monitor external maintenance activities.
With a focus on accuracy, you’ll maintain critical documents and systems, contributing to the performance of the GSE Asset Management System.
