POSITION OVERVIEW

Intrahealth is looking for a high-energy Technical Operations Manager. As a Technical Operations Manager, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the operational health of technology systems and applications. This role involves troubleshooting technical issues, implementing solutions, and working closely with various teams to ensure the seamless operation of our solutions. The role will also lead the development and optimization of operational processes and procedures, aiming to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
Our ideal candidate will possess excellent writing and presentation skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality proposals within tight deadlines.

REQUIREMENTS

  • BSc/BA or equivalent work experience.
  • 10+ years of industry experience.
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.), networking concepts, and security practices.
  • Ability to create scripts in PowerShell or other scripting language.
  • Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN).
  • Ability to understand and interpret complex technical documentation.
  • Ability to solve complex and ambiguous technical problems using experience, creativity, and sound judgment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direction, mentorship, and guidance to a team of technical operations professionals.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Set performance goals, conduct regular performance reviews, and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with the Technology Services shared services team in the planning, deployment, maintenance, and monitoring of servers, networks, hardware, and software systems.
  • Collaborate with the Technology Services shared services team to ensure the stability, security, and scalability of the IT infrastructure to support business operations.
  • Collaborate with the Technology Services shared services team to lead the team in responding to and resolving technical incidents and outages in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime and impact on users.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance operational processes to optimize efficiency, reliability, and resource utilization.
  • Implement best practices and automation strategies to streamline operations.
  • Monitor system performance and resource utilization to predict capacity needs and proactively address potential issues.
  • Recommend hardware and software upgrades to maintain optimal performance.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Generate reports on system performance, incident response, and operational metrics.
