ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to join us and help develop our Licensing and SaaS platforms. You will work closely with senior members of the project team, including the Engineering Team Lead, to make sure that the developer team delivers products and features in the most effective way. You have to make sure the product is managed throughout its lifecycle and constantly monitor the health and success of its products, making decisions in a data-informed way. You also ensure that internal stakeholder groups are consulted and are able to position and differentiate the product in the market.
About your responsibilities
Lead the Internal Licensing Project: Take ownership of the internal project focused on developing and implementing licensing solutions for our products, ensuring alignment with internal processes, business objectives and customer needs.
Drive SaaS-based Solutions: Lead the development and enhancement of our SaaS-based offerings, including subscription pricing models, feature sets, and customer experience enhancements.
Define Product Strategy: Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for licensing solutions and SaaS platform offerings, leveraging market insights, internal stakeholder and customer feedback, and business objectives.
Gather Requirements: Work closely with stakeholders to gather and prioritize product requirements, ensuring alignment with internal processes, customer needs, regulatory requirements, and business goals.
Develop Product Roadmap: Create and maintain a product roadmap for licensing solutions and SaaS platform offerings, balancing short-term priorities with long-term strategic objectives.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Collaborate closely with development teams, UX researchers, engineering managers, and other stakeholders to drive the execution of the product roadmap, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
Analyze Data: Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to track key performance indicators (KPIs), monitor customer usage patterns, and identify opportunities for product improvement and optimization.
Manage Stakeholder Communication: Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders, including executives, product managers, and team members, to provide updates on project status, solicit feedback, and address concerns.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE YOU SHOULD BRING TO US

• At least 3-5 years of experience in technical product management roles, with a focus on software products, licensing solutions, or SaaS-based offerings.
• Strong technical background, with proficiency in cloud technologies, software development methodologies, and API-driven architectures.
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving successful project outcomes from conception to launch.
• Experience in managing internal projects focused on software licensing or SaaS solutions is desirable.
• Ability to identify and pursue new opportunities for innovation and differentiation in licensing solutions and SaaS offerings.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with development teams, UX researchers, engineering managers, and other stakeholders to drive product execution and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
• Familiarity with Agile and Lean product development methodologies
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence internal stakeholders, including executives, product owners, and team members.

BONUS SKILLS THAT WILL HELP YOU HIT THE GROUND RUNNING

• Demonstrated understanding of licensing models, SaaS business models, and subscription-based pricing strategies.
• Experience in developing and managing SaaS products or services.
• Familiarity with integration techniques and API documentation is advantageous.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements relevant to software licensing, such as GDPR, CCPA, or industry-specific standards. Experience ensuring compliance with data privacy and security regulations is advantageous.
