ABOUT THE TEAM:

As a Technical Product Manager in the Revenue Platform domain, you’ll lead the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, focusing on delivering a new application and related tooling globally for our Field Sales teams. This will drive efficient sales and operations and provide a great customer experience for the merchants they interact with. You’ll partner with an Engineering Manager and a cross-functional team of designers, engineers, and analysts to drive the rollout of new services.
This position is within the Platform Tribe, where our mission is to enable SumUppers to build, run, and communicate innovative and cohesive products & services – globally, at scale. Our Squads align strategically with SumUp’s priorities to provide robust infrastructure, streamline data processes, and develop essential operational platforms.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Establish the vision and strategy for internal tools that support our Sales teams and their interactions with merchants, ensuring alignment across product teams, stakeholders, and leadership
  • Drive the discovery and technical requirements for Sales tools with a multidisciplinary engineering team, creating solutions that minimise user friction, automate processes, and enhance the experience for our salespeople and merchants
  • Define your squad’s core metrics with our Platform Tribe analyst, tracking improvements, refining user journeys, and sharing delivery outcomes
  • Collaborate with Go-To Market team from Sales, Operations, and Marketing teams, sharing insights on initiatives, upcoming plans, and essential technical and product knowledge

YOU’LL BE GREAT FOR THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE

  • Demonstrated success in delivering solutions within a complex internal domain involving multiple systems, both third-party and in-house
  • Strong technical background with the ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, architectures, and trade-offs with engineering teams
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams of multidisciplinary engineers
  • Analytical and metrics-driven mindset, with the ability to deep dive into data
  • Strong communication skills to effectively articulate product vision, strategy, and requirements to both technical and non-technical audience
