TECHNICAL PROGRAM MANAGER (DATA, ANALYTICS & REPORTING)

Remote (WFH) Full-Time Position
Inviso partners closely with Microsoft’s rapidly growing Americas Vendor Tele Programs team to support Microsoft customers’ journey to the cloud, providing a range of services across Program and Operations Management, Business Intelligence, Analytics, and Data Science. We are seeking an experienced Program/Project Manager to drive delivery excellence across the program’s data, analytics, and reporting initiatives, enabling the success of our clients and data team alike through a keen understanding of the business, a focus on quality, and instilling and leading with strong project management and stakeholder management practices. This role will manage a portfolio of small to midsize projects, multiple concurrent initiatives supporting one macro program, but accountable to multiple stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Successful candidates will combine strong technical knowledge with business acumen and effective communication skills to help define and implement BI solutions. The role requires an individual highly motivated to take responsibility for seeing BI projects from conception through to successful delivery, as a part of, and supporting the growth of, a project team. The work is fast paced – candidates must thrive in an evolving, rapidly changing environment and be able to successfully balance competing priorities while delivering top-quality work with flawless attention to detail.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Either 5+ years of experience as a Business Intelligence professional with a particular emphasis in Power BI, Microsoft SQL Server (preferably Azure SQL), DAX, and data science, with an additional 2+ years managing teams or PM’ing projects with these same technologies or 7+ years managing teams or PM’ing projects delivering through these technologies.
• Having both the delivery capability/experience as well as the project management experience leveraging these technologies will be a strong differentiator. The best case is a strong, proven PM with a data background who can interface with the business, as well as rolling up their sleeves to partner with our data team to build solutions.
• Experience working directly with customers to understand business needs & priorities, and translating those into clear, actionable technical solutions or requirements (including the development of appropriate business logic, based on an understanding of the underlying data)
• Experience collaborating with a broader team, mentoring, and supporting their success.
• Excellent written and verbal English

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

• Experience with Azure Data services & technologies (Azure SQL DB, Azure Data Factory, Azure Analysis Services…)
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform and Dataverse
• Data Modelling
• ETL Process Creation
• Experience working at Microsoft or in the extended Microsoft ecosystem, as a vendor or partner
