The Azure Solutions and Ecosystem (AS&E) team is actively seeking a Technical Program Manager II who specialize in Technical Program Management (TPM)/Product Management (PM) for a role within our team. Our mission is to deliver key workload solutions such as SAP, Private Cloud (VMWare, Nutanix), Supercomputers, ISV (healthcare) and partner solutions. This role offers significant visibility, a wide-ranging scope, and an opportunity to work with several different parts of the company.
As a Technical Program Manager II in our team, you will wear several hats - Product Manager, Strategic Thinker, Crisis Handler and Problem Solver. This role will specifically focus on the delivering platform solutions for how Electronic Health Records (EHR) can land in the cloud. This role will go further to explore how we can help these customers take advantage of AI, Data and other services in the cloud. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Software Engineers, and various cross-functional teams (including marketing, sales, support, finance, and other product teams) to define and execute your tasks, ensuring successful outcomes.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 2+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
  • OR equivalent experience
  • 1+ year(s) experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • 1+ years experience working on cloud platforms with EHR or related

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

ADDITIONAL / PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
  • OR equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • 1+ year(s) experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos.
  • Demonstrated ability to think about customer and business problems.
  • Self-motivated and proactive.
    Technical Program Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,300 - $182,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $120,900 - $198,600 per year.

Responsibilities:

  • You will partner with customers, solution architects and field teams to define customer scenarios and Infrastructure feature requirements. Help drive clarity of requirements with engineering.
  • You will collaborate with stakeholders across teams and functions within Microsoft to monitor product usage and report updates to the broader organization.
  • You will collaborate with Azure Data and AI teams to develop a unified product strategy for healthcare and life sciences customers transitioning to the cloud.
  • You will coordinate engineering help for high-profile incidents and perform root-cause analysis with guidance from others.
  • You will help in large healthcare customer onboarding for Azure platform migrations. Partner with engineering team to help build automation and quality check solutions to ensure seamless migration experience for customers.
  • You will serve as a Subject Matter Expert in one of the areas - Cloud Infrastructure / Networking / Security/ Electronic Health Records or Data Management and help author white papers that will help customers.
