REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Must have extensive knowledge using RPA.
  • Must be well read on AI with interest in working with AI and its usage across federal government.
  • Must be able to write well and independently develop process, policy, and governance documentation.
  • System requirement gathering, ability to do mockup for demos, give brief and demos to the customer, and coordinate with the development team on implementation.
  • Must have user Experience Orientation.
  • Must have Systems Analysis Skills.
  • Must have client engagement skills – meetings, briefings etc.
  • Should have significant technical reach, but in terms of Systems Analysis – not necessarily hands-on work or coding.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to work independently with the key stakeholders.
  • Strong planning and organizing skills, and ability to manage technical team.
  • Ability to prioritize and work effectively towards deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Flexibility-Multi-task Adaptability.Ability to interact with a variety of individuals in a courteous and professional manner.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8+ years of relevant project management experience with a federal customer.
  • 5 years of RPA and/or AI experience.
  • Experience in managing or leading Federal IT projects preferred
  • Prior Agile experience in conducting requirements analysisExperience supporting multiple projects

EDUCATION

Position requires BS/BA or Master’s degree in a STEM, Computer Science, or similar discipline from an accredited university.

Responsibilities:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The successful candidate will use their enthusiasm, and strong technical and management skills to provide support services and be an integral part of a team to facilitate high level of duties including but not limited to the following:

  • Strong technical understanding of using Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
  • Understand RPA and AI policy, federal and industry best practices, and draft documents for the federal government.
  • Ability to independently write governance documents, technical white papers, and obtain consensus from various enterprise boards.
  • Present the papers to program managers and Office the Chief Information Officer (OCIO).
  • Ability to change directions as new policies and regulations are published or announced.
  • Establish guiding principles on AI and RPA for the department and assist in communication.
  • Lead a team of RPA developers to design, create and deploy bots.
  • Understand the various processes governing the department and its impact on the AI and RPA policy and governance.
  • Develop documentation and work with department security office to obtain Authority to Operate (ATO) for various AI and RPA tools.
  • Ability to build, design and deploy bots in the ATOed platforms.
  • Knowledge with implement design, development, testing and deployment of best practices across the entire software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Participate in analysis, design, and new development of applications.
  • Demo development efforts to the internal team and the program office.
  • Conduct peer reviews, unit testing, and code reviews.
  • Establish and maintain the role of a trusted liaison by building relationships with government and contractor personnel to ensure effective coordination of all project efforts.
  • Ensures all deliverables and requirements of the program are completed on time on budget.
  • Track project deliverables, plans, cost, and schedule and provide reporting.
  • Define key metrics and develop an approach for capturing data on an on-going basis.
  • Lead development of algorithms and complex code such that research efforts are based on the highest quality data.Undertake special projects as required.
