Metric5 is currently seeking a Technical Project Manager for an exciting opportunity to lead a Zero
Trust Architecture project.
The Metric5 team is seeking a Technical Project Manager that will lead a diverse team of Security
SMEs, Cloud Engineers, and Software Developers. The candidate will oversee all project
deliverables, including technical plans and documentation, briefings, product evaluations, software
deployments, and status reports. The candidate will support the planning, designing, and deploying
of zero trust architecture and security strategies. This includes developing architecture, reference
documents, security models, and white papers. The team will manage a test environment in AWS
used for evaluating zero trust software and test tools.
A successful candidate will have hands-on experience as a Technical Project Manager in a Federal
Government Agency IT environment and will have expertise in cyber security. This project will
feature a hybrid working environment with both remote and onsite requirements.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 7 + years of experience managing government Information Technology projects/programs
  • 7 + years of experience with cybersecurity, Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Authority to Operate (ATO) guidelines, processes, and procedures.
  • 3 + years of experience implementing Zero Trust Architecture in AWS
  • Experience with addressing security requirements/needs at an application program level and identify, document, and implement required processes and procedures to satisfy cybersecurity requirements/needs.
  • Exceptional writing skills - must have experience creating/writing/ownership of security documentation, white papers, briefings, and status reports
  • Excellent verbal communications skills

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Active PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), GIAC Security Leadership Certificate (GSLC)
  • At least two (2) examples of successfully leading the development of security strategy for any (DoD or non-DoD) large-scale, complex, and distributed systems
  • Education: Bachelors in a Technical Discipline – Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent technical degree (Desired not required)
    Years of Experience: 7+ years of experience or more
