Description:
As a Technical Researcher, you will work with a team in an exciting, agile environment to not only build organizational profiles but also identify how companies represent themselves online. We are looking for candidates who are focused, inquisitive, and can drive tasks to completion. The dynamic nature of the position requires a strong sense of collaboration and work ethic.
You and other team members will report to a Technical Research Manager and will be responsible for the collection, organization, and quality of information gathered from the many different data sources. You will utilize custom-built tools and general internet knowledge to build organizational profiles on companies across the globe. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with engineers, sales managers, and data scientists. The research you provide on business hierarchies, relationships, structure, and internet presence will have a direct impact on customer-facing material.

Responsibilities:

  • Identifying the organization’s Internet presence
  • Capturing parent/child relationships within an organization
  • Provide high-quality data with minimal false positives
  • Effectively and efficiently communicate research findings
  • Collaborate actively and engage with Technical Research work and other Bitsight team members

Requirements:

  • Top-notch English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Tech-savvy
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and adaptable
  • Strong sense of team collaboration
  • Take tasks and projects to completion, with a sense of ownership
  • Nice to Have: Know-how of SQL, python, and other computer languages; customer-facing skills

Desired qualifications:

  • Fluent in English (English level > B2)
  • 0 - 2 years of research experience or in other related fields
