General Field Sales work includes face-to-face and remote selling to both new and existing customers including:
The successful candidate will have to be based in Cape Town - Northern Suburbs
Area of responsibility 1: Sales Performance
To ensure the achievement of the sales budget and increase market share
Area of responsibility 2: Business Planning
To maximize all sales opportunities and develop Virbac’s strong and distinctive position in the marketplace
Area of responsibility 3: Report Adverse Drug Reactions and product complaints correctly
To ensure that all ADR’s and PC’s are resolved amicably
Area of responsibility 4: To demonstrate effective business planning and implementation of plans to maximise potential of the area in line with Virbac strategies.
To minimize cost of traveling and ensure that product focus is relevant to the strategy of the CA Business unit
Area of responsibility 5: To develop and maintain the required competencies and skills relevant to the job title
To ensure that the CA Business Unit has a well trained sales team that will be able to provide the client base with excellent and relevant technical information and support.
Requirements (Diploma and experience)
Veterinary University Degree or Veterinary Nursing Diploma/Degree or 5 Years Veterinary pharmaceutical sales experience
Marketing Diploma/Degree and/or SAAHA accreditation will be an advantage

Technical product knowledge
Professional Selling Skills
Languages : English read, write and speak. Afrikaans : Speak
Financial knowledge in order to manage sales and expense budgets
Negotiation skills 6 Computer Literacy G Suite
