JOB DESCRIPTION

To maintain relationships with nominated customers and to develop new business in the automotive / industrial / transformer and related services within the borders of SA

MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Completed Matric/ Grade 12;
• Valid Driver’s License with own reliable vehicle,
• Computer Literate (Word/ PowerPoint/ Excel)
• Flexibility to travel
• At least 2 years proven experience in Technical Sales

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

Diploma

• Continuously seek opportunities for new business in all sectors in the Gauteng area
• Compile a monthly sales pipeline on prospects
• Liaises closely with the Sales Manager with regards to potential customers
• Analyses the potential of new customer in terms of samples and training
• Develop presentations for potential customers and implement the program
• Follows up timeously with the potential customers
• Secures initial purchase orders for oil analysis kits and related services
• Arranges on-site introduction courses on sampling in conjunction with the sales manager, JHB Branch Coordinator, technical support and training manager
• Receives information of new customers from the company customer service staff and follows up with the customer
• Maintains and increases high levels of sales/ technical support to existing customers
• Develops a mutually beneficial working relationship with the customer
• Arranges and confirms customer visits
• Generates quotation and follows up of same until order received, work and GRV’s completed.
• Prepares for the customer visit utilizing monthly reports, call sheets, fleet listings, customer details and other relevant information
• Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies achieve projected sales and revenue targets
