Role Purpose: Are you a driven and technically proficient sales professional eager to support the next generation of underwater defence platforms? Join our client’s team as a Technical Sales Manager to spearhead business development and drive growth in the undersea domain. You will play a critical role in shaping the company’s sales strategy, working closely with engineering teams and industry leaders to deliver cutting-edge solutions.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS. ESSENTIAL:

  • Proven experience in technical sales, preferably within the defence or technology sectors.
  • Strong understanding of underwater defence technology and its applications.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to develop and implement strategic sales plans.
  • Technical proficiency to understand and articulate complex product features and benefits.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and drive revenue growth.
  • Identify and engage with potential clients in the defence sector, building strong, lasting relationships.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to understand product capabilities and translate them into compelling value propositions for clients.
  • Lead negotiations and close high-value deals, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Maintain excellent communication channels with internal and external stakeholders, including development partners and government representatives.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and exhibitions to promote products and solutions.
