Description:

Western Integrated engineers, builds, installs and commissions electrical systems including machine control systems, PLC, HMI, safety, and networking solutions designed for a wide range of industries including Forestry, Mining, Manufacturing, Materials Handling, Machine Safeguarding. We partner with our clients to solve their most pressing challenges including: speed to market, product quality, optimized production, maximizing investment and uptime.
We are looking for an experienced Technical Sales Specialist to join our team of professionals!

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in account management or sales, preferably in the industrial electrical sector.
  • Strong understanding of VFD systems and machine control projects.
  • Experience in the forestry, mining, and water-wastewater sectors is a plus.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Office 365.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

Client Account Management:

  • Maintain and develop strong relationships with existing clients in the forestry, mining, and water-wastewater sectors.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
  • Regularly engage with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Monitor client satisfaction and proactively address any concerns or opportunities for improvement.

Sales Support:

  • Support the Sales Manager in developing and executing sales strategies to meet company goals.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Assist in preparing sales proposals, presentations, and contracts.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and sales activities in the CRM system.

Market Expansion:

  • Research and identify potential new clients and market opportunities.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of market expansion initiatives.
  • Participate in industry events and trade shows to promote the company’s products and services.

Collaboration & Reporting:

  • Collaborate with the Sales Manager and other team members to ensure alignment of sales strategies and objectives.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on account activities, sales progress, and market trends.
  • Contribute to team meetings and strategy sessions with insights and recommendations.

Travel & Market Expansion:

  • Travel up to 25% of the time to meet clients and explore new business opportunities.
