Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
Due to an internal promotion we have an opportunity for a Technical Security Specialist to join the team.
In this role you will be responsible for developing information security risk assessments and action plans in line with regulatory standards and industry best practices. You will ensure the adequacy of existing security controls and identify areas for improvement.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Identifying and analysing security threats and trends.
- Monitoring and investigating alerts.
- Responding to incidents.
- Participating in investigations.
- Measuring and reporting to management.
- Providing guidance and recommendations to business units and technology teams.
- Reviewing and creating policies to counter evolving threats and support new regulations.
