THE SKILLS YOU’LL NEED

You are a driven, self-motivated, resourceful, naturally curious individual who uses a creative mind-set to solve problems and help the team achieve excellence consistently. You have a superior understanding of agile principles and pride yourself on creating healthy meticulously groomed backlogs. You enjoy gaining and sharing information with the team and are comfortable with change, able to adapt as needed.

• Experience leading an agile team through agile ceremonies (stand up, retro, showcases, workshops, inceptions etc.).
• Excellent communicator that nurtures a collaborative environment.
• Great at presenting information through visual tools and techniques.
• Strong organisation and facilitation skills.
• Demonstrates a good understanding of architectural and technical designs.
• Have experience with Azure cloud and technical teams.
• Ability to translate business requirements into detailed functional requirements.
• Ability to simplify highly complicated & complex ideas into consumable visuals and language.
• Comfortable managing priorities by working closely with the product manager and delivery team.
• Proven Business Analysis experience with infrastructure teams is highly desirable.

You’ll be part of a fast-paced, complex DevOps team responsible for the platform and infrastructure of MYOB’s two major products - AccountRight and MYOB Business. We are a platform domain that exists to ensure small to medium business can start, survive and succeed whilst maintaining internal engineer satisfaction. With an agile mind-set and passion for solving problems and building great software, you will be empowered to experiment, play and really make a difference for the customer.
Reporting to the Delivery Manager, your primary responsibilities will be to collaborate with stakeholders and sharing the information you gain with your peers. You will work within the team breaking down large complex problems into high value incremental deliverables. You will also play a role in mentoring more junior BAs within the domain and providing leadership to initiatives outside of your team.
All team members are expected to continually inspect, adapt and experiment, looking for opportunities to improve individually and as a team, so a growth mind-set is a must.
