CERTIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED;

• Trade Certificate (Fitting & Machining)
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Domestic travel and occasional overseas travel when required.
• Ideally you will have 5 years experience in a similar role within the water/wastewater sector.
• Effective problem solving, analytical and communications skills with high attention to detail.
• Experience with industrial equipment, maintenance and spare parts.
• OEM manuals and technical drawing interpretation experience.
• Ability to interpret drawings and BOMs, customer conditions and applications.
• Skills in CRM, Excel and Word, inventory/sales software.

As Technical Service Engineer for equipment installed in both municipal and industrial wastewater treatment plants throughout Australia, you will provide support and expertise in diagnosing, troubleshooting, resolving technical issues, recommending SOW and spare parts requirements for overhauls with efficiency for their customers.
You will be the primary contact for their customers to determine level of overhaul, parts required, workshop availability and duration to ensure minimal impact on customers’ plant operation.
In recommending the SOW, you will also prepare customer quotes to secure orders for overhaul or spare parts required.
