We are looking for a highly motivated Technical Services Engineer to join our Cloud Services team. In this role, you can expect to be constantly learning and adapting to new technologies to ensure we are providing outstanding support to our team and customers. The right candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, while being able to collaborate with the team and also work independently.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Prior experience in a Systems Administrator/Engineer role or similar is essential
  • Demonstrated knowledge and previous administration experience with Windows and Linux is required
  • Sound understanding of networking and security concepts
  • Effectively operate in a distributed workforce in both a remote and in-office setting using a variety of collaboration and communication platforms
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to perform work outside of standard hours when required (on a standby or scheduled capacity)
  • Previous experience working with AWS in an organisational environment is highly advantageous
  • Administration and management experience with Crowdstrike, Splunk or similar is highly regarded
  • Consent and ability to obtain a baseline security clearance

Responsibilities:

  • Provide second-level technical support to customers who utilise both our Cloud and On Premise software solutions
  • Actively contribute to developing, implementing and maintaining the Aurion Cloud software
  • Continuously improve upon the deployment and maintenance of the Aurion software and associated services
  • Assist with the migrating customers from our On Premise to Cloud software solution
  • Ensure that the Aurion Cloud Platform and internal AWS accounts and resources are optimised for efficiency
