  • Strong leadership and people management skills, both for internal teams and contractors.
  • Relevant engineering qualification is preferable but not required with appropriate experience.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

The role of the Technical Services Manager is to ensure the smooth operation, maintenance, and upgrading of the data centre’s technical infrastructure including network (IT) equipment, transmission media, cabling infrastructure and CCTV. Reporting to the Operations Director, this key position is accountable for overseeing a range of customer infrastructure projects, setting standards and processes, and ensuring ‘Always On’ availability and efficiency of all systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage, coordinate, and supervise the work of the technical team accountable for the operation and maintenance critical data centre IT and network systems.
  • Ensure successful delivery of technical projects; increasing connectivity efficiency, reducing operating costs, and continuously improving overall customer infrastructure reliability and resilience.
  • Define, monitor, and report on key performance indicators related to technical systems operation and maintenance.
  • Project manage and collaborate with various stakeholders, including customers, contractors, engineers, and the Corporate team.
