Description:
Who we are
Brella is a fast growing Finnish event-tech scale-up focused on offering a best of breed networking and on-site event experience. Our headquarters are in Helsinki, Finland, but our hybrid and remote team is based in multiple countries around the world!
We’re looking for a technically-savvy project manager with great communication skills who can manage (and be hands-on with) our rapidly growing volume of managed customer integration projects.
Please note: This role requires solid people & technical skills (in particular, an understanding of APIs, integrations and ideally some scripting-level knowledge in Javascript or Python).
What you would be doing
This role contains both a project management and individual contributor (IC) component.
- Working with our integration specialists, managing our integrations backlog and delegating projects to them
- Meeting customers to evaluate and scope out their managed integration projects
- Handle customer communications related to integrations throughout the integration’s life-cycle
- Be hands-on and build customer integrations (using our tech-stack of n8n, Zapier, windmill.dev and / or scripting languages like Javascript & Python)
- Evaluate and help make decisions related to our integration tech-stack
- Maintain and monitor customer integration projects and fix issues in a timely manner
Who you are
A successful candidate can come from different backgrounds (you could, for example, have been a SWE who wishes to transition to a more people-focused/ project management type role, you could be a product owner who knows some coding etc.).
- Solid project management & communication skills
- Excellent command of English (spoken and written) — you will be communicating with customers from around the world
- Excellent technical skills, especially in the following areas:
- Understanding of/ experience using APIs (at least REST is required, but GraphQL and SOAP are advantageous)
- Ability to read, write and troubleshoot JSON
- Scripting knowledge using Javascript OR Python
- You don’t need to be a full-fledged software engineer/ expert, but you do need to have solid scripting skills to transform and manipulate data
- Knowledge of tools like n8n, Zapier, Windmill.dev are considered an advantage, but are not a requirement
- Creative problem solver with an eye for detail — you will be working on mission-critical integrations
- Calm and works well under pressure (this is a must — you will work on projects for some of the largest companies, brands and event organizers around the world!)
What we offer
- Competitive compensation package
- Flexible working hours
- Either fully-remote, or hybrid (if based in Helsinki) — you decide what allows you to be the most productive!
- The chance to work on truly challenging and interesting problems & projects — with just enough “boring” days sprinkled in-between to give you a break to recharge your batteries
- The chance to learn from and grow with a truly amazing team — we all support each other and egos are kept to a minimum
- We have processes to help provide stability — but things aren’t set in stone — we are always open to improvements; there is ample room for you to grow in this role and leave your mark
