Technical Specialist

Responsibilities:
- Providing technical support to claims teams about liability decision making in line with Victorian workers compensation law and WorkSafe Victoria guidelines and assisting the eligibility team with achievement of their performance measures.
- Triaging claims including early identification of claims for pended liability or early acceptance.
- Reviewing and providing feedback about current claims management practices and procedures ensuring emerging trends are identified and managed.
- Developing strategic initiatives and procedures to ensure all service, performance and compliance measures are achieved.
- Building and maintaining strong collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders; and
- Assisting with organisational compliance with legal, governance and WorkSafe Victoria agent requirements.
