What you’ll bring to the team:
Join our dynamic LEGO Models Technical Team as a Technical Specialist in Lighting and let your creativity shine! Your expertise will play a crucial role in delivering mesmerizing lighting and AV experiences at Merlin LEGO branded attractions, leaving our guests enchanted.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Lighting Design, or related field preferred, but not essential.
- Minimum of 3-5 years hands-on experience in lighting systems, design, specification, or technical support roles with specific expertise in DMX (Digital Multiplex) protocol implementation and programming
- Proficiency in DMX programming languages (e.g., DMX512, Art-Net, sACN), lighting design software and AutoCAD with demonstrated experience in integrating DMX-controlled lighting systems.
- Strong understanding of DMX protocol specifications, addressing schemes, channel assignments, universes, and data transmission methods.
- Experience in programming and configuring controllers, dimmers, and fixtures (e.g. LEDs, lasers, projectors, pixel mapping devices, moving heads etc.) to achieve desired lighting effects and sequences.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Professional certifications in lighting design, control systems or related fields (e.g. ETCP Certification, DMX Operator Certification) preferred.
- Intermediate computer literacy including use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoin

Expert Technical Support: Serve as a lighting technology guru, providing guidance and troubleshooting expertise to internal teams, clients, and contractors, ensuring smooth operation at all times.
