We are seeking a motivated professional to join our IT team; someone excited by a fast-paced environment with a start-up culture and the benefit of working in a hybrid environment. In this role, you will work on maintaining and monitoring the computer systems and networks for our business. You will be tasked with solving complex technical issues and will also collaborate with team members across all departments to assist them with their technical requirements. This position will be a hybrid role based in our Berwyn, PA office with 3 days in-office and 2 days remote.
What you will be doing
- Install and configure hardware, software, or updates.
- Troubleshoot and resolve user issues with software or hardware.
- Walk users through resolution steps.
- Maintain concise procedures to support the organization.
- Maintain streamlined change logs for audit purposes.
- Analyze records and logs to spot underlying trends and potential issues.
- Support the implementation of new solutions or applications.
- Establish accounts for new users and assist with password or login problems.
- Assist with testing, evaluating, and making decisions about new technology for the business.
- Participate in meetings and provide insight into requirements.
- Remain up to date on emerging trends and technology offerings.
- Performs other related duties as assigned or as necessary; remains flexible and adaptable in work schedules and work assignments as defined by departmental and organizational needs.
Necessary Skills, Education & Abilities
- High School degree, or equivalent required.
- 3 or more years of experience in technical support.
- Certifications are preferred, but not required.
- Working knowledge and expertise with a variety of operating systems, software, and hardware.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing priorities.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to provide solutions to complex problems.
- Ability to be highly transparent, ethical, and driven. Relentless attention to detail, and the ability to be a creative self-starter and team player.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate with all levels within an organization and with clients, customers, and vendors.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
