The Role: Technical Support Engineer
Provide general technical support for customers, particularly regarding technical information on products, and application information during the pre-sales & after sales process. Take ownership and ensure customer satisfaction before closing the request. Detect all opportunities to serve the customer while addressing customer support requests.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Engineering (EE, ECE) or equivalent experience.
  • Preferably with BPO or customer service experience.
  • Preferably working experience in the related field specializing in Technical & Helpdesk Support.
  • Experience / Knowledge of personal computers required.
  • Experience with network operating systems preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and explain technical information.
  • Ability to solve customer problems via telephone, chat, and email.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fluent to good in English communication.
  • Willing to work in Cavite on a rotating schedule.

Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • To provide technical assistance (Offer Selection, Troubleshooting, Installation/Set Up, Documentation, Maintenance Support) to all internal and external customers across all of Schneider’s Business Entities, focusing on Home and Distribution, Industry, LV/MV products, and various other applications at the entry level through phone, email, and chat.
  • Communicate effectively with customer to ensure a seamless experience.
  • Collaborate with internal and external interested parties such as sales, operational excellences teams to ensure customer needs are met and to identify opportunities for product and service improvement.
  • Assist other teams by providing the appropriate Schneider Electric part numbers to be offered to customers.
  • Manage customer cases and escalate issues to senior technical support staff when necessary.
