Responsibilities:

IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL:

  • Have direct responsibility for a team of small to medium size; act as project coordinator for diverse projects
  • Ensure the technical execution of hardware projects and coordination of the Hardware Engineering team
  • Project Execution – take ownership of the hardware engineering activities on all allocated deliverables and proactively use methodologies, resources, and techniques for minimizing the execution cost, whilst maintaining the requisite schedule and quality standard
  • Resource management: hiring and staffing the engineering team to meet requirements of S&OP planning in area of influence.
  • Project Management – contribute to local and European initiatives aligned to company strategies; coordinates and coaches engineers during projects execution and support the Project Manager in the development of a realistic and achievable project schedule, providing all necessary information to ensure that they are fully advised of resource requirements, progress and areas of risk for the hardware allocated engineering deliverables
  • HSE/Quality control – ensure that all engineering activities are undertaken in accordance with the Company’s quality control processes and that the relevant standard is achieved – adheres to company’s and customer HSEQ standards at all times
  • Customer Relations – maintain collaboration with industry/country partners, ensure resource availability, handling and achieving customer’s expectations; Ensure proper sales and proposals support ensuring that the customer’s requirements are fully understood, and that innovative and cost-effective solutions are proposed.

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

  • Engineering degree, state-certified technician, completed vocational training or equivalent knowledge..
  • Relevant project execution experience with a consistent track record of running hardware system design, implementation, and factory/site acceptance test phases of projects (process automation, systems, and instrumentation)
