Description:

The Technical Training Project Lead will work within the training department reporting to the Director of Technical Learning and Development. You will be responsible for all aspects of the training process which includes developing and delivering technical courses and workshops to Imperva engineers, business partners and customers. This also includes the oversight and maintenance of the learning management system (LMS) to facilitate seamless learning experiences while aligning with organizational objectives. This role demands both technical proficiency and strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

EXPERIENCE:

This role must bridge the gap between technology and education as you enjoy the benefits of being involved in the product roadmap on one hand while having good acquaintance with the field requirements and customer implementations on the other. In a part time capacity, you will work to optimize the learning management system (Skilljar) for technical training for both eLearning and instructor led content.

SKILLS:

  • A good working knowledge in IT security, data, application and cloud.
  • 2-5 years experience as a technical training developer, technical lead, or technical writer
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Very good reporting and Data analysis skills (SFDC knowledge is a plus)
  • Technical Proficiency (HTML, javascript and/or CSS, AI-driven tools a plus)
  • Problem-Solving Prowess
  • Detail oriented
  • Adaptability to new tools and trends
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities is essential.
  • Excellent collaborative and interpersonal skills required.
  • Gamification and how it is applied in an LMS is a valuable addition.
  • Knowledge and expertise in Skilljar LMS

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Technical Training Project Lead: You will be the lead to a team of trainers and developers in the development of new and existing Imperva training courses (both online and onsite formats) to be sold to Imperva customers and partners.
  • Platform Setup and Customization: As the primary LMS administrator, you will act as the architect, configuring the system to align with the organization’s specific needs including branding, user interface modification and creation.
  • Content Management: You will oversee the creation, uploading, and organization of learning materials. This includes everything from text and images to interactive quizzes and videos. You will need to review and revise any last-minute errors that diminish the quality of the courses.
  • Integration: You will work with IT to ensure other relevant applications connect to the LMS, creating a seamless digital ecosystem.
  • Reporting and Analytics: You will build insightful reports, assisting in making data-driven decisions to improve learning outcomes. This data will become pivotal in your role as project lead when engaging with the development team in the alignment with roadmaps and organizational requirements.
  • eLearning course upkeep: Assist in maintaining existing course content. This may require some new content development. Primary focus is to manage a process for maintaining existing course content to the most current software versions.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, instructional design, or related field
  • May also possess expertise in the following areas:
  • Project Management Certifications
  • Content authoring tools
  • Coding languages
  • Database management
  • Server Hosting environments
  • Authentication and single sign-on
  • Integrations
  • Analytics and reporting tools
