We are currently seeking Technicians for our Toledo, Ohio location.
A successful candidate will be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Level 1 – Ability to demonstrate proficiency in one of the following areas:
- Sub-assembly, jig, installation, basic electrical, or basic decal installation (experience preferred, company willing to train)
- Level 2 – Ability to demonstrate proficiency in Jig, assembly, and installation
- Level 3 - Ability to demonstrate proficiency in a Level 2 role, plus either demonstrated proficiency in advanced electrical or basic graphics
- Level 4 – Ability to demonstrate proficiency in a Level 2 role, plus demonstrated proficiency in advanced electrical and basic graphics or Level 2 role plus advanced graphics (full wrap)
- Level 5 – Ability to demonstrate proficiency in a Level 2 role, plus demonstrated proficiency in advanced electrical and advanced graphics (full wrap)
- Knowledge of required ASC installation documentation
- Identify and communicate risk immediately
- Ability to work with air and hand tools, lift up to 50lbs
- Identify and eliminate waste to improve productivity
- Results oriented; Exceeds goals and pushes self and team
- Follow all ASC safety protocols and guidelines
- Team oriented
- Ability to problem solve
- Ability to advance into the next technician level
Education and Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Basic computer skills
- Frequent bending/twisting at the neck and trunk area
- Physical ability to lift and/or move up to 80 pounds (with assistance)
- Vision requirements include, close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Frequent standing, sitting, walking, carrying of items, reaching, handling, kneeling, crouching, bending
- Frequent squatting, stooping, or kneeling, and reaching above the head and reach forward
- Continuous use of hand strength to grasp tools and climb on to ladders and into vehicles
- Must meet and maintain all requirements to be a “Driver” as defined in ASC Fleet Corporate Driving Policy
- Valid driver’s license
- Acceptable driving record (ASC authorized)
- While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is frequently required to walk; sit and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and climb or balance
