We are currently looking for a new member for the Fund Management team to join us in the position of Technician, Facilities Management.
Working Place: Sonae Sierra’s Central Offices in Maia

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Up to 4 years of experience, living near Maia, with a professional technical degree or higher.
  • Fluent in English and Portuguese (mandatory);
  • Proactive ability to mobilise and interact with other people and teams;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for finding solutions;
  • Good negotiation skills;
  • Sense of responsibility and commitment to the end result of the work carried out;
  • Attention to detail and customer focus;
  • Good knowledge of IT tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the preparation and management of action plans and budgets relating to buildings;
  • Managing contracts with service providers;
  • Participating in the definition of improvement activities and projects related to buildings;
  • Managing improvement projects in buildings and facilities, including negotiating with suppliers and analysing tenders;
  • Overseeing some building maintenance and improvement works;
  • Controlling and reporting on buildings operating costs/budgets;
  • Acting as a liaison between technical teams and building users to ensure co-ordination of activities and achievement of objectives;
  • Preparing reports and documents to support negotiations and decisions;
  • Participate in the organisation of transversal initiatives promoted by the Sonae Campus management, aimed at the employees of all companies
