Job Details:

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct operator level function checking of equipment assigned for use on training exercises
  • Conduct minor operator level maintenance of equipment
  • Raise non-technical inspection reports to commence the maintenance process for damaged equipment
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the equipment, training facilities and vehicles used for exercise support
  • Assist the issue and receipt process for the instrumentation training equipment
  • Work with other team members to deliver soldier and vehicle equipment kitting/fitment
  • Train the customer in the operation of instrumentation
  • Assist in the establishment and ongoing support and maintenance of the contractor field accommodation prior to/during/post exercise periods
  • Assist in the establishment and pack-up of deployable facilities
  • Assist with preventative maintenance for all assets as directed
  • Assist in system stocktaking and audits as directed
  • Follow equipment procedures and processes IOT support a safe working environment
  • Perform basic driving tasks as directed
  • BPT issue and receipt equipment utilizing Cubic’s inventory management tool
  • BPT conduct battery management including charging and recharging of battery fleet, and preparation ISO activities
  • BPT collect and maintain data on battery health statistics
  • BPT conduct additional tasks as directed

General Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Comply with Cubic’s Quality Management System
  • Comply with Cubic Occupational Health, Safety and Environment policies and procedures
  • Comply with security in accordance with established policies and procedures of the organisations
  • Comply with Cubic Human Resources Procedures
  • Other duties as requested

Minimum Job Requirements:

Skills/Experience/Knowledge

  • Experience in a similar role (highly desirable)
  • Experience operating in a small team environment
  • Eligibility to obtain and hold an Australian Defence Industry security clearance

Desirable

  • Medium Rigid driver’s licence
  • Forklift licence
  • Experience in audio stores, maintenance or logistics
