Job Description (detailed):
Computer Technician responsibilities to include - validate server HW functionality, install and remove HW at a component level (motherboard, HDD/SSD, Memory, CPU, PCH, etc), manage server HW inventory at a component level within the System Of Record HW Database, document the HW for each platform on a HW Transfer Checklist prior to transfer to the Long-Term Retention team, install Operating Systems and other software as part of the platform functional validation. Will also be responsible for shipping/receiving duties.
*Minimum skills:
• High School completed AND Technical Degree in electrical, electronic, or related field of study.
• 1+ years’ experience supporting Engineering Activities in Electronics Industry.
• Intermediate English Level.
*Desired skills
experience with:
• Windows OS, system BIOS configuration, and firmware programming
• Remote Connectivity deployments - Test PC, Debug PC, Debug Peripherals, IP KVM, VNC, System Tracking
• Lab test equipment (digital multimeters, XDP, Serial Debug, power supplies, etc)
• Experience to assemble/rework standard computer systems from raw components
