About your new role:
We are actively looking for talented and motivated Repair Technicians to join our valued client, in Tullamarine, working with electronic equipment. Entry level immediate opportunities are available for day shift positions, offering $31 per hour.
You will be tasked with troubleshooting and resolving issues across a diverse range of electronic equipment such as scanners, mobile phones, and printers. This includes conducting diagnostics, repairing, or replacing faulty components, and ensuring operational functionality.
You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in troubleshooting and repairing electronic and mechanical equipment. While prior experience in electronics or IT is advantageous, a proactive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued.

Your duties and responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose various electronic equipment such as scanners, mobile phones, and printers
  • Repair and refurbish devices and faulty components including disassembling, installing software/firmware, and testing for functional and operational efficiency
  • Repair devices in accordance with company and customer standards, policies, and SLA agreements
  • Communicate effectively with customers to provide updates and advice on repairs
  • Maintain accurate records of completed repairs using ERP

Qualifications:

  • Certification in technical degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment including electric screwdriver, and other light hand tools
  • High attention to detail, particularly on quality
  • Ability to work independently and multitask
  • Must pass police check
