Technician, Module Assembly

at  PENANG AUTOMATION CLUSTER SDN BHD

• Electrical wiring works on panel and machine modules
• Support in mechanical works such as machine modules installation, assembly, drilling works and etc.
• Function as an active team member in project team
• To prepare the required parts and components based on the BOM list prior to the commencement of assembly tasks.
• To assemble the mechanical & electrical components using correct tools with machine modules as end product.
• To position or align components and parts, either manually or with proper hand tools.
• To clean, assemble, disassemble and replace parts as and when it is required.
• To understand the 2D drawing and ensure Controlled engineering drawings are used.
• To understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading work instruction, engineering drawings etc.
• To work with other team members in order to assemble parts.
• To inspect, verify accuracy and quality on the completed modules and compare them with requirements using proper inspection tools and procedures.
• To maintain proper housekeeping and tidy workspace at all times.
• To highlight to Supervisor when suspected defective parts or components or modules are being produced.
• To perform any other duties assigned by supervisor or manager from time to time.
