-IT TECHNICIAN – SENIOR LEVEL 2

We are currently seeking a dynamic IT Technician who is bilingual, for a full-time & permanent role with us who will be placed our client located in Dollard-des-Ormeaux who is a successful frozen food manufacturer making signature products which are sold in Club, Grocery and Mass Market retailers and their private label customer list includes North America’s top tier grocers.

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE (ASSETS) :

• SAP applications, INTERAL, Labelview, Bartender, Workday, Microsoft SCCM;
• Basic/functional understanding of Industrial Control System (ICS), PLCs or SCADA;
• Basic/functional understanding of industrial label printers (Zebra, Datamax) for Production; (printing labels mainly for pallets so inventory can be identified/shipped. If there is downtime, production is impacted and frozen.)

• Taking notes when receiving instructions & training;
• Follow up on issues, prioritizing & time management.;
• Follow procedures/processes from corporate office on IT tasks : onboarding, etc.;
• Ready to work on tickets, projects, emergencies at any time;
• Managing Remote Desktop Services (Terminal Server) environment;
• Troubleshoot RDS sessions, VHDX files, terminate applications, etc.;
• Managing SQL Server databases;
• Perform database backups whenever necessary;
• Manage AD & local permissions to the SQL server DB;
• Managing File & Printer servers;
• Troubleshooting drivers, printer queues;
• Managing File Servers;
• Groups / Users, following procedures & practices from the corporate;
• Video conference equipment, IP phone systems (Polycom phones with Teams, Skype for Business);
• Incident response to malware, virus, ransomware;
• Isolate & resolve malware issues;
• Document the whole process as per corporate procedures;
