POSITION DETAILS:
Current Rate of Pay: Min = $41.82/hr, Max = $48.47/hr
Employment type: Full Time Permanent
Hours of work: 40 hrs/week
Work location: Restoration Resources Center
Division: Restoration & Infrastructure
Business unit: Restoration & Resource Management
Travel: 25%

Responsibilities:
- Supports the development of planting project plans, scope, budgeting and detailed designs under the direction of a Project Manager.
- Works with teams to ensure compliance with plan design, health and safety and other regulatory requirements.
- Conducts site visits to monitor project start up, progress of implementation, contingency planning and close out, including contractor coordination.
- Provides oversight to a small team of staff within a business unit or at a site, delegating tasks and ensuring team alignment to complete daily objectives.
- Oversees a team of staff and ensures that team members understand expectations; communicates schedule, tasks and discusses priorities.
- Communicates with team members to assess status of work throughout the day/shift; amends work and reassigns staff as needed to direct workflow and accommodate for any situational circumstances.
- Supports onboarding and provides on the job training and support as needed for individuals they oversee.
- Supports a culture of workplace equity and inclusion that celebrates diversity.
- Ensures staff/volunteers/contractors, as applicable, comply with health & safety policies, and other TRCA policies, as applicable in various work environments.
- On a daily basis, makes decisions, exercises judgment and provides appropriate technical direction to projects planning to ensure the integrity and quality of the implementation including adherence to policy and standard operation procedures.
