POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Probe Equipment Technologist to join our team. As a Probe Equipment Technologist, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing semiconductor probe equipment. This role requires a strong technical background, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in probe station setup, alignment, and calibration.
  • Familiarity with probe cards, needles, and wafer handling.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Knowledge of AC/DC circuits, including fundamentals of electricity and basic electronic components and circuits.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand and fix mechanical systems.
  • Vacuum system knowledge and troubleshooting ability.
  • Ability to use schematic diagrams to troubleshoot systems to component level.
  • Intermediate PC skills, including familiarity with MS Office Suite.
  • Understanding of the process flow related to area equipment.
  • Ability to efficiently prioritize tasks and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective time management, organization, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to follow procedures and work with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility with job responsibilities and shift assignments (able to perform 12-hour work shifts).
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly initiative and strong problem-solving skills

Responsibilities:

  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and repairs on probe stations and associated equipment.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve equipment issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Process Optimization: Collaborate with engineers to optimize probe processes for yield improvement.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and performance.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working with high-tech equipment.
  • Training: Train new technicians and operators on equipment operation and safety procedures.
