If you are an innovative Engineering Professional looking for an opportunity to impact the future of an industry, Copeland has a rare opportunity for you! This position is responsible for providing direction to the organization around refrigerants and systems technologies. You will work alongside a strong and dedicated cross-functional team at our Sidney and Dayton, OH locations looking to collaborate on opportunities that drive new value for Copeland.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
- Engineering Master’s degree plus a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant HVACR systems experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proven leadership skills in research and/or product development environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and proven ability to apply creative thinking (including Design Thinking or Lean) to new problems
- Passionate Learner across a variety of disciplines
- Strong project management skills and the ability to work with both internal and external resources
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and excellence at developing strong collaborative relationships
- Ability to travel up to 10% of your time
- Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this position.
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
- Experience and Understanding of Refrigerants that impact the HVACR industry
- Active within industry organizations such as AHRI, ASHRAE, etc
- Experience or exposure to “not in kind” HVACR technology
