Description:
Hear at Home Hearing Clinic, established in 2009 in North Vancouver, is renowned for its award-winning mobile services. Expanding our reach, we acquired a physical location two years ago.
As our small business evolves, we seek an enthusiastic Computer Science or Information Technology graduate to join our dynamic team as a Technology Implementation Specialist for a finite technology adoption initiative. The chosen candidate will ensure the seamless integration of Commercial SaaS and external Practice Management systems. Essential tasks include validating SaaS functions against business needs, overseeing various management modules from appointments to finance, and ensuring third-party Practice Management tools meet project specifications through thorough testing.
REQUIREMENTS:
- This position is part of a wage subsidy program for youth. Therefore, candidates must be between 18 and 30 to be eligible.
- Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Refugee with the right to work in Canada
- A recent graduate (within 2 years) from a college, university, CEGEP, or Polytechnic Institute in a computer science program, Digital Skills Program, or equivalent.
- Minimum 12 months experience working with cyber security and related technology
- Proven experience in security technology deployment, transition and operationalization
- Proven experience with security simulations and social engineering
- Minimum 3 years experience with Windows (Intel/AMD) compute
- Minimum 3 years of experience with iOS mobile platform
- Entry-level experience with Learning Management Systems and training development is considered an asset
- Proficiency in verbal and written English communication, with knowledge of adapting writing for various media/audiences
- Willingness to learn and mindfulness and focus on the activities
- Diligence in complying with the schedule and reporting weekly status
- Timely escalation of issues to the supervisor
- Compliance with confidentiality of all information handled
- Strong attention to detail, takes pride in producing high-quality work and approaches projects holistically.
- Self-motivated team player, willing to take the initiative.
