Description:

The Technology Infrastructure Specialist will oversee and ensure the efficient operation of the company’s IT infrastructure and ERP systems. This role includes managing hardware, software, network resources, and systems to ensure high levels of data availability and network performance, with a strong emphasis on cybersecurity.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education and Certification: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, with a focus on cybersecurity.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing IT infrastructure with a significant focus on cybersecurity.Experience in securing ERP systems and handling sensitive information securely.
  • Skills: In-depth understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, incident management, and endpoint security.Proficient in risk management, information security policies, and disaster recovery planning.Strong technical knowledge of network hardware, databases, and software.
  • Personal Attributes: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical abilities and a methodical approach to problem solving.

Responsibilities:

  • System and Cybersecurity Management: Oversee the installation, configuration, maintenance, and secure operation of all IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and workstations.Implement robust cybersecurity measures tailored to protect ERP systems and other critical software against cyber threats.
  • Data Security and Backup: Develop and enforce policies for data security, conduct vulnerability and risk assessments, and apply necessary security patches and updates.Manage and monitor security protocols, perform regular security audits, and respond to network security breaches.
  • Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Provide technical and cybersecurity support to staff, troubleshoot system, network, and security issues.Train non-technical workers on information security practices, cyber threats, and safe software use.
  • Project Management: Lead IT and cybersecurity projects, including the design and deployment of secure IT systems and services.Assess and incorporate cybersecurity products and innovations to enhance system security.
  • Vendor Management: Coordinate with technology and cybersecurity vendors to ensure that their services adhere to your company’s security needs.Evaluate and manage contracts with software and security service providers.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Maintain up-to-date IT operations and security documentation (e.g., system setups, security measures, user guides, and compliance audits).
